Sunday The Eagle Has Landed

Ok, what really happens, besides the eagles flying and landing, is our breakfast run to Eagle River.  Please meet at the Kalidi Bros. on Tudor at 9am Tomorrow, May 15th, with a full gas tank. We ride to Johanna's for breakfast while figuring out or rides. I know Susan O. will be thinking Eagle River nature center, not sure what others have
in mind.

See you at Kalidi's. Dana and Michelle will hopefully meet up with us at Johanna's.

We Are Soooo Excited!

Today's W.O.W. meeting was a great opportunity to catch up and set aside some time for future rides. Patty and Dana won the prizes for earliest rides. Dana came in from Wasilla. Both had to go home while it was snowing/hailing. Those wacky bikers!

We'll be riding on some Sundays and Wednesdays as well. Come warmer weather there are quite a few organizations that have regular ride times. It's the please all, please none thing, I guess. Regardless, we all all looking forward to getting lots of riding time in.
Julie and Patty were both featured in the official Women On Wheels magazine as record holders for the most mileage. Because of their efforts we will all register to track our miles and keep Alaska on the map!

Mark your calendars:
May 3 Group Riding Instruction: Class time and short group practice weather permitting
May 15 Meet at Kaladi Bros. on Tudor at 9:00am, ride to Johanna's in Eagle River for breakfast. Find your own way home.

More to follow, feel free to add your own events. Hopefully we can come up with a good calendar system. Happy Riding.

Meeting Today at New Sagaya 5:00pm

I'm looking forward to the meeting today. The roads would have been dry except for the cornflake sized flakes that came down this morning. This group is an optimistic bunch tho, and we'll overcome!
